Build A Website

By | September 13, 2013

Welcome to step two of creating your first Niche Website! You are one step closer to your goal of earning a passive income online!

So at this point you should have completed a few steps. You should have decided on a niche for your site using brainstorming & keyword research & decided on 10 sub-topic keywords you’ll be targeting. So the next step is registering a domain name, setting up hosting and get started on your first website. So, there are three basic elements every website must have:

  • Domain name –- that’s the www.yourdomain.com
  • Hosting — how websites are connected to the internet.
  • Content –- what users (and search engines) see when they visit a website. This includes text, images, video, and other forms of media.

This lesson will take you all step by step – starting with searching to see if a domain is available & buying hosting, to installing WordPress, setting up the structure for your first website & finally installing the add-ons to help with search engine optimization & keeping track of your users. I know, it sounds like a lot, but you will be surprised how simple the whole process is! Thanks to some very powerful tools, you don’t even need to know any code – no HTML, CSS or PHP – just point and click! It’s that simple!
